first post of 2009! congrats!

Ok, this is to show Mai that Syikin IS NOT MUGGING. =^

Fingers were too lazy to type sooo maanyy wooordds..

Was planning to update blog on New Year's day but was..well, lazy.

Now everyone's gonna call me lazy.

First and foremost, well, happy new year. Ok, maybe i should wish Happy Chinese New Year since that's closer. My resolutions? Well, i'm too lazy to make resolutions that i don't keep anyway. Just make 'em up as u go thru life. Uh-oh, i better stop myself from making a habit of typing sms lang in my posts. *presses stop button*


Now and then i'm jolted to reality that I HAVE GOT TO EARN SOME INCOME. TAKE SOME COURSES. instead of playing and slacking all day.


My childhood friend - of 16 years this 2009!- smsed me. She got a job as an air stewardess. Awesome! She asked me what i'm doing now. Very tempted to write sinning. Yup, sin-ning...coz i feel that my slacking tendencies are teethering at the edge of it being a sin. Nah, being the self-assured, confident girl that i am, i replied that i applied for relief teaching. And that my aunt, who used to teach her at TWPS helped me in giving my no to the school. Then she said, "Wah, hello Ms Nurul (that was what they called my aunt back at twps). We have our own careers already!"

I choked at that point.

No, it wasn't a career.


And shucks...it's my wrong, i know..i didn't know Mich had went overseas coz, ud, i had been lazy to read blogs lately..and i sent her 2 smses! I'm deadddddddd. How much would it cost me? She went to Yunnan!! Dreading the bill...


Woo, it's Jan already. A few more months till results. Seems like almost everyone has thoughts of going uni on their minds. Me too actually. First choice, a science course..since taking up other courses seems like a waste of all my previous science edu. Second, if all chem/bio courses fail, i shall take up social science or psychology. If that fails too..oh man, teaching it is then. argh please please please get me into a uni! With my friends! Especially hid and izz and linalool! I wanna have Mich as my senior! I wanna take bus 188/172 to the uni campus! I wanna tire my legs from exploring the campus! I wanna hibernate with books in the library! Most importantly though, i wanna make my mom and dad smile.


So many depressing stuffs in the news lately.

Recession...people should be more discerning on what they spend on. Hopefully the economy picks up soon (ugh..UNlikely) so that we won't have to graduate in such a gloomy job market.

Israel vs Hamas...what more is there to say 'cept that humans are inherently weak. So much so that they fall easily in the face of power, wealth and earthly possesions. Stop the unnecessary deaths already, and the the UN seems ineffective these days.
